What Each Benefit Means
Stage Shout-outs
Organisers will open the day by welcoming attendees and thanking sponsors by tier. The frequency and placement of your acknowledgement — start of day, end of day, or intermissions — depends on your package level.
Website Logo
Your logo will be displayed on our website in a section appropriate to your tier — with Platinum sponsors receiving a dedicated write-up in addition to logo placement.
Banner / Booth
A standard pull-up banner (supplied by you) placed in a prominent conference location. Gold sponsors receive two banners plus podium placement; Platinum receive foyer and podium positioning. Nothing larger than a standard pull-up unless discussed and agreed with organizers.
Social Media
Supporter & Silver: shared posts across BSides Perth's LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, tagging your handle. Gold: one dedicated pre-conference post plus a shared post during the event. Platinum: bespoke social campaign agreed directly with your marketing team.
Intermission Slides
From 30 minutes before the first presentation and throughout the day, sponsor slides rotate on-screen between sessions. Supporter/Silver logos appear on a shared slide; Gold logos on a Gold-only slide; Platinum receives a dedicated full-screen slide.
Included Tickets
Your package includes conference passes for your team: 2 for Supporter, 5 for Silver, 10 for Gold, and 15 for Platinum. Use them for your security professionals or pass them on to the community.
Sponsorship Agreement
This agreement is between the BSides Perth organisers ("Organiser") and the sponsoring organisation ("Sponsor"), valid from the date of execution through to the end of the sponsored event. The key terms are summarised below.
Marketing Use
Sponsors may use the tagline "Official Sponsor of Security BSides" on marketing materials during the term of this agreement.
Production Timeline
Logos, URLs, and banner assets must be submitted within 10 business days of signing. All items are due one month prior to the event (or by a date specified by Organiser).
Trademark Usage
Sponsors grant Organisers the right to use their trademark, logo, and tagline solely to fulfil promotional obligations. This includes website banners, intermission slides, signage, and lanyards.
Payment
Full payment is required upon signing. Payment accepted via bank transfer or PayPal. Failure to pay in full may result in cancellation of the sponsorship.
Non-endorsement
Listing on BSides Perth platforms does not constitute endorsement of the Sponsor or their products by BSides Perth or the Organisers.
Non-exclusivity
BSides Perth does not award exclusive sponsorship or preferential relationships. Sponsors may not imply exclusivity.
Limited Liability
If circumstances beyond Organiser's reasonable control prevent fulfilment of promotional benefits, Sponsor holds Organiser and BSides Perth harmless from financial or legal liability beyond the sponsorship fee paid.
Force Majeure
Neither party is in default if performance is delayed or prevented by fire, natural disaster, act of government, or other causes beyond commercially reasonable control.
Rejection
BSides Perth and Organiser reserve the right to decline any sponsorship application for any reason.
